Heirloom Publishing Company® is an independently-owned publishing company based in the beautiful state of Florida. Our mission is to protect and preserve childhood by creating books, educational materials, and products to help children flourish in their wonder, curiosity, and innocence, for childhood is precious and short.

Heirloom Publishing Company's original publications are printed and bound in the United States of America. They are made to the highest quality standards to withstand the test of time. It is our hope that they will be cherished as heirlooms for many generations to come.

Our creations are based on the principles taught in Philippians 4:8: Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

We want to honor our Lord Jesus Christ in everything we do! 

We support traditional Christian values and emphasize the importance of family and home. We love our beautiful country, America, and want to teach our children to do the same. 

We desire to publish and sell products that are wholesome and good. All of our own publications are made with the intention of promoting a sweet and precious childhood.

We want to train children to grow into young adults who will stand for righteousness and truth, and who won’t waiver in their Christian beliefs. It would be our privilege to be able to play a part in your child’s education and godly upbringing!

OUR EDUCATIONAL ROOTS

The idea of Heirloom Publishing Company® was created years ago by Niki Parsley, a homeschool mother of three, who saw the need for high quality, wholesome childrens books and curriculum.

Niki’s love for education began when she worked as an elementary school teacher. When she and her husband had their children, they decided that she would school them at home. Their kids are all graduated and grown now, but they each treasure their homeschool experiences.

For 12 years, Niki directed a large local homeschool co-op and has taught many homeschooling workshops on a variety of topics. She has also spoken at the FPEA Homeschool Convention and written several articles for the Old Schoolhouse Magazine. Throughout the years, Niki has developed
creative educational resources, such as history and literature unit studies, lap booking projects, and nature journals.

Over the years, it has become Niki’s passion to preserve and protect childhood. She believes children should be nurtured into adulthood, teaching them about real world experiences and realities, while still allowing them to have a rich childhood full of wonder, adventures, and exploration. She encourages children to play outside, use their imagination, read lots of classic literature, explore nature, build things, and reenact historical time periods. Children should learn to serve others around them and develop their own personal relationship with their Creator.

Our family is excited to work together to bring our products to you and your children with the goal of educating them in the things which are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8).

THE HEIRLOOM MOUSE

Let us introduce The Mouse Family behind Heirloom Publishing Company®! 

Mr. Heirloom Mouse proudly serves as our company's logo. He is the editor-in-chief and runs the printing press. No book is printed or published without his stamp of approval. Heirloom Mouse, along with his wife, Mrs. Mouse, live with their three children in the upper shelves of the bookcase and work the publishing company business down on the bottom shelf. 

Mrs. Mouse is responsible for much of the content creation in the publishing company. As she homeschools her three mouslings, she is constantly gathering inspiration, creating new curriculum, and coming up with story ideas.

The three mouslings test all of the company’s products to make sure they are fun for other kids. They are also learning the ins and outs of the business as they get older. 

As you see, this family of mice is very involved in the publishing company. You’ll often find them hidden in products—you just have to look!
